Some Pumpkin Delights

October and November mean it’s pumpkin season!  Now that it’s almost December, it seemed time to wrap up on the pumpkin baking for this season.

Yes, it’s steaming and I probably could have waited to layer everything, but I actually enjoy the temperature contrasts between the different components.IMG_3687

Pumpkin Banana Loaf with Mascarpone Frosting
IMG_3781What do you do when you have extra mascarpone in the fridge?  Make a pumpkin loaf so you can top it with the mascarpone frosting you are going to make.  And with the candied walnuts you have sitting around.  Also a great way to use up that black banana you’ve been trying to find a use for.
