Alas, our final day arrived.
Luckily, we had a last breakfast scheduled at Ama Ama, the restaurant at Aulani where we had breakfast on our first morning.
I ordered the fruit crepes, which were filled with bananas and strawberries and topped with more bananas, pineapple, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, granola, and vanilla sauce. In a word – perfection. An absolutely perfect way to conclude our time at Aulani.
For lunch, we went back to Pizza Corner and had another Poke Pizza.
This crust this time was more crispy, but the ahi tuna was still delicious.
On our way to the airport, we NEEDED to make one last stop for malasadas!
Luckily a Leonard’s truck was parked in a parking lot on the way from our hotel to the airport.
The last two times I had gotten Haupia (coconut filled), so this time I went for the custard filled. Christine, of course, got Dobash again (chocolate filled).
You can still see the crispy exterior, the fluffy doughy inside, and the rich creamy chocolate filling.
Goodbye Hawaii for now…. can’t wait to see you again!!!!!
